Robert Young
Robert Young is a Research Manager on IDC's Enterprise System Management Software research team. His coverage includes software for managing systems and applications across a wide variety of platforms. A key focus area is Client Device and IT Service Management Software.

Prior to joining IDC, Robert had over 12 years experience in IT resource management and client support, including IT Service Management and IT Help Desk software. He has held positions as IT Service Desk Manager and IT Help Desk supervisor, supporting incident and change management processes, ticket management, and the development of service level agreements. He also previously held client support and knowledge management positions while on active duty with the U.S. Air Force.

Robert holds a B.S. degree from Wilmington University where he majored in Information Resource Management. He received an MBA from Anna Maria College, and is also A+ and ITIL certified.
