Greg Truty is an IBM Distinguished Engineer working in IBM for 20+ years and has been in WebSphere since its inception. Greg is the chief architect of IBM's Mobile Platform which includes delivering capabilities across IBM to help customers build, connect, manage, secure mobile applications to help transform and grow their business.
Greg led the integration of Worklight (IBM's mobile application development platform introduced in 2012) into IBM and has responsibility of expanding the platform to leverage capabilities across IBM.
In past roles, Greg led WebSphere's strategy and implementation of REST and SOAP-based Web Services with JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and JAX-RPC as well as developing standards in the Web Services space. Greg has worked in the area of distributed computing for the majority of his 20+ years in IBM.
